You start your day logging into you computer then you check your email, or you wake up in a hotel room and you grab your Blackberry or another type of PDA or texting device. Laptop and Blackberry's are the new tools for the road warrior without them they feel naked and out in the cold. The new world is turning totally computerized and every month they make them more smaller and compact with more memory and power. We are getting so dependent on them and the Internet that when we can not use them we feel lost or out of touch with the world. And don't forget cell phones that now have the ability to do just about everything that a computer can and more.

Where are we going with this new age what is the goal. Cloning of animals and gene therapy, why look at the child who was born with 4 arms and legs. when will enough be enough. How far are we going to go. What are we trying to prove cause the pros do not out weigh the cons. Because for every new tool and machine we create somewhere there is someone reverse engineering it so they can use it for something different and most of the time it is not good.

And the fact that we have gotten so technically suave why are we still dependent on Oil for fuel? You can't tell me that they do not have a Computer that can design a car, Van or truck that does not need gasoline for fuel!!! I myself back in the 70's when I joined the Military saw that Computers was the way to go cause it was a never ending thing. And if you got on the wagon you would have a permanent ride for life. Don't get me wrong I love computers too but I still think we should not get too dependent and start shutting down the old ways totally. I was raised to always have a plan B to fall back on. Just like how they are going to force everyone to go to digital TV systems!!!

Well HD and Digital TV is all well and good but I feel that making people go out and buy converter boxes and taking away UHF and VHF Well something stinks.
